JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has assigned the Indonesian Chancellor's Forum to formulate efforts and steps so that the Indonesian economy can increase to become a developed country.

"We received an assignment from the President's quote to formulate and technicalize, ensuring that Indonesia becomes a developed country in 2034 is needed," said Chairman of the Indonesian Chancellor's Forum Mohammad Nasih after being received by President Jokowi at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 7, which was confiscated by Antara.

In a meeting with President Jokowi, said Nasih, the Chancellor Forum discussed many challenges in Indonesia's future, especially regarding superior human resources so that Indonesia can become five major countries in the world. To achieve these ideals, said Nasih, there needs to be a joint effort between the Government and the Chancellor's Forum.

"And of course we will discuss it more technically as part of input as a basis for the managers of this country, whoever will later lead this nation and state," said Nasih.

The formula contains efforts to become a developed country, said Nasih, also so that Indonesia's development continuity node occurs despite the change of leadership in government. According to Nasih, the Chancellor Forum wants to have a vector with the government so that Indonesia can become a developed country.

The Chancellor of Airlangga University revealed that one of the keys to efforts to become an Advanced Indonesia is improving the quality of human resources.

To achieve improving the quality of human resources, said Nasih, it is necessary to focus on efforts in several fields, including maritime agro and scientific and technological development.

"This will be part of the input that we convey for us to detail further. In the future, what kind of road map science and technology in Indonesia will be to encourage food security, encourage health security, encourage energy security, basically we become independent countries and of course become developed countries," said Nasih.
