JAMBI - Three perpetrators of mistreatment of four students and one teacher, in a brawl between students at SMAN 4 Mandiangin, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi Province, finally surrendered to the police.

"Yes, based on information from the Sarolangun Police Chief AKBP Imam Rachman, the perpetrators have been handed over to the Sarolangun Police," said Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Police, Kombes Pol Mulia Prianto in a statement Tuesday, November 7.

For information, the incident of beating students and teachers at SMA Negeri 4 Sarolangun occurred on October 30, 2023. As a result of the actions of the perpetrators, the victim suffered a stab wound.

Mulia said that the perpetrators were still minors. The three of them each had the initials DP (16), AR (16) and PA (16) all residents of Mandiangin District, Sarolangun Regency.

They were escorted by the Rengkiling Herman Village Head, Rengkiling Village Head Bakti Sarpia, community leader Rengkiling Village, parents and family of the three perpetrators to the Sarolangun Police.

Furthermore, he said, these perpetrators will be questioned and processed according to the applicable law.

"We ask the public to entrust this matter to the police, there will be no more blocking," said Mulia.

This incident occurred on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 08.30 WIB at the canteen of SMAN 4 Sarolangun, Mandiangin District, Sarolangun Regency.

This incident sparked the frustration of the victim's family, they even had several times to close the Jambi-Sarolangun national road which was finally dispersed by the police.
