Wantimpres Jokowi Enters TKN Prabowo-Gibran, NasDem Alludes To Position Ethics

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP for the Territorial Election Winning of the NasDem Party Effendi Choirie alias Gus Choi responded to the entry of a number of members of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) President Joko Widodo in the structure of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team. Gus Choi admitted that his party was not worried about this. Given, there is no law that prohibits Wantimpres from being part of the winning team for presidential and vice presidential candidates. "NasDem doesn't need to worry about all the actions, all the maneuvers from competitors. It's normal. As for the people who enter (the campaign team), the important thing is that they don't violate the law," said Gus Choi at NasDem Tower, Central Jakarta, Monday, November 6. However, Gus Choi mentioned the ethics of the positions of state officials who are now in politics. According to him, they must set a good example to the community. It must be taken into account, considered," he said. The structure of the Prabow-Gibran TKN members carried by the Advanced Indonesia Coalition has been announced. The names are outside of high-ranking political party officials and administrators from the Advanced Indonesia Coalition, as well as from retired TNI/Polri, groups of businessmen, technocrats, academics, and a number of public officials who are members of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet or outside the Cabinet. In the structure of the TKN management of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition, there are four Wantimpres namely Habib Luthfi bin Ali bin Hasyim bin Yahya and General TNI Retired. Wiranto, both of whom served as coaches. Then, Putri Kuswisnu Wardani as an advisor to TKN. Then, the names of ministers and deputy ministers who are included in the list, namely Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto (Chairman of Directors), Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan (Director), Deputy Minister of Manpower Afriansyah Noor (Deputy Chair of Strategic Coordinator), and Deputy Minister of ATR/BPN Raja Juli Antoni (Vice Chairman of Strategic Coordinator). There is also the Deputy Chief of Presidential Staff for Information and Public Communication Juri Ardiantoro who is included in the list of TKN administrators as Deputy Chair of the Strategic Coordinator.

However, the jury submitted his resignation letter to the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo through the Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko as of today (Monday, November 6, 2023).
