Gresik Police Unload Online Prostitution In Apartments, A Pimp And 4 Prostitutes Are Secured

Online prostitution business at Gresik Icon Apartment, precisely in Kembangan Village, Kebomas District, Gresik Regency, was uncovered. The police managed to secure a pimp and four commercial sex workers (PSK) were arrested by the police.

The perpetrators who were arrested, namely the initials N (23) acted as pimps and were named suspects. As well as four prostitutes as victims with the initials R, D, SF and SA. They are currently still undergoing examination at the Gresik Police Satreskrim Tipidter Unit.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Gresik Police, AKP Aldhino Prima Wirdhan, said that the disclosure of online prostitution stems from reports from the public.

"After conducting an investigation, the police raided one of the apartment rooms used by the prostitution business on Monday night. Sure enough, two prostitutes are busy serving mashers," said AKP Aldhino Prima Wirdhan, Wednesday, November 1.

One pimp with the initials N was named a suspect. Based on the results of the examination, the online prostitution business has been going on for the past month. The modus operandi is to use the MiChat application.

The graduate of the 2015 Police Academy (Akpol) explained that the pimp had two MiChat accounts. Through the account, transactions took place with the masher. The price of the offer starts at Rp. 600,000, but can still be negotiated. After agreeing then meet at the Gresik Apartment Icon.

"After the man who ordered came to the apartment, the pimp or his prostitute would pick him up on the ground floor and then go to the room. Then the transaction according to the agreement in the application, cash or transfer can only be served by the prostitute," added AKP Aldhino.

Still according to Aldhino, pimps and prostitutes came from West Java. A prostitute was born in 2004. From the mucus business, suspects or pimps can earn a salary per week of around Rp. 3 million. The police helped secure contraceptives, work record books, Rp. 8.6 million and four cellphones.

Meanwhile, the Building Manager of Gresik Apartment Icon, Wisnu Kusuma Wardana, confirmed that there was a raid on allegations of online prostitution in one of its units. "However, for sure, we have never facilitated or supported prostitution, crime and other negative things," he said, Tuesday.

He explained that actually the security system in the apartment was quite strict. Starting from collecting data on residents or unit tenants to guests, including routine patrols of security officers. This will be a note for his party to carry out evaluations and improvements.
