JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo admitted that he had received information from the Acting Governor of Bali regarding the transfer of the attributes of political parties in Bali during his working visit some time ago. "And this previously received information from the Governor of Bali Province regarding yesterday there was a transfer of party attributes from the location where I came," said Jokowi during a working visit to the Nusantara Capital area in East Kalimantan, Wednesday 1 November. The President conveyed that related to the attributes of the party, the government including state civil servants, the TNI and Polri must be neutral. "Therefore, I need to convey that the local government, provincial governments, district governments, city governments, the central government must all be neutral. ASN must all be neutral, TNI must all must be neutral, all Polri must be neutral," he said. Therefore, he said, the transfer of several political party attributes by district/city governments and provinces should ask permission from party administrators in the regions so as not to cause miscommunication. "Therefore, the transfer of some of the attributes of the parties should be the district/city government as well as the province asking permission from party administrators in the regions, communicating with party administrators in the regions. Don't let miscommunication occur in the regions.," he explained. When asked whether the local government or ASN in Bali who carried out the transfer/distribution of party attributes is not neutral, Jokowi emphasized that the most important thing is to communicate with party administrators in the regions.

"This means that there must be communication, communication with party officials, permission with party officials in the regions so that miscommunication does not occur," he said. Meanwhile, if party attributes violate regional regulations and damage city planning, President Jokowi said it was a matter of local government.
