Cawapres Lunch Agenda With Vice President Canceled, Cak Imin: Postponed Until Undetermined Time

JAKARTA - The Vice Presidential Candidate for the Change Coalition, Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin, revealed that the invitation to lunch with Vice President Ma'ruf Amin along with two other vice presidential candidates, namely Gibran Rakabuming and Mahfud MD, today, Wednesday, November 1, was canceled. According to Cak Imin, the meeting of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin with 3 vice presidential candidates in 2024 was postponed indefinitely. "I was contacted by the Minister of State Secretary, he said on Wednesday it turned out to be postponed indefinitely," said Cak Imin when confirmed, Wednesday, November 1. Cak Imin himself is currently in Malang, East Java to attend an event on the UNISMA campus. Previously, Spokesperson for Vice President Ma'ruf Amin, Masduki Baidlowi said the meeting was rescheduled for Monday, November 6. "No, tomorrow, God willing, Monday, lunch," Masduki said when contacted, Tuesday, October 31. Meanwhile, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin said, his party was still arranging the lunch schedule with three vice presidential candidates, namely Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin), Mahfud MD, and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The reason is, the three vice presidential candidates are traveling around so that efforts to match each other's schedules are not an easy matter. "(The matching of the time for the vice presidents) is not an easy problem, yes, one is in Central Java, the other is in East Java, and some are in Papua. So (we are looking for a way out) how they (can) attend the three of them in Jakarta and we are currently (fixing the time)," said Ma'ruf Amin in Jambi, October 31.
