JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta DPRD Budget Agency (Banggar) together with the DKI Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD) agreed to determine the draft APBD for the fiscal year of IDR 81.7 trillion.

The value of the APBD draft was agreed upon after going through the process of deepening the final research of the documents discussed by five commissions together with the DKI Provincial Government's regional work units from 10 to 13 October 2023.
The amount of the 2024 APBD consists of a projected regional income design throughout 2024 of IDR 72.4 trillion. In detail, local revenue (PAD) of IDR 52.3 trillion, transfer income of IDR 19.3 trillion, others of valid regional income of IDR 722.2 billion.

Then, financing expenditures amounted to Rp9.7 trillion, consisting of regional capital participation (PMD) of Rp7.9 trillion, and debt principal installment financing which matured at Rp1.8 trillion.
In the composition per commission, the value of the budget allocation discussed in Commission A of the DKI DPRD is IDR 12.4 trillion, commission B is IDR 9.5 trillion, commission C is IDR 3.8 trillion, commission D is IDR 14.6 trillion, and commission E is IDR 32 trillion.
Secretary of Commission E of the DKI Jakarta DPRD said that the budget value of Commission E is the largest in the 2024 APBD.
The focus of priority programs that will be carried out next year is related to education, health, and poverty alleviation through three SKPDs, namely the Education Office, the Health Service, and the Social Service.
"The DKI Education Office has allocated Rp17.4 trillion with a number of notes, including immediately realizing and encouraging studies on superior schools for underprivileged students in each region, as well as completing diplomas detained by the school," said Jhonny.
