JAKARTA - Deputy for Politics 5.0 of the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN), Andi Widjajanto asked volunteers to focus. They should not be disturbed by anything, including the advancement of an official child in another camp.

This was conveyed by Andi in front of the volunteers during a consolidation event in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Thursday, October 26. They said they had to win the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD pair.

"Just focus on winning Ganjar-Mahfud. If you can forget, forget that there, for example, the son of an official," Andhi told reporters.

Andi did not specify who the son of the official in question was. However, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who is the son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and the Mayor of Solo, stepped forward as Vice President Anies' companion.

Returning to Andi, the advancement of the official's son also makes the word family lose meaning.

"In the past, if we said we wanted to finish it amicably, it was friendly, friendly, comfortable to find a solution," he said.

"Now it's a bit different, yes about that," continued Andi.

It is known that Gibran stepped forward as a vice presidential candidate after the Constitutional Court (MK) knocked out the requirements for presidential and vice-presidential candidates to be 40 years old who had been elected through the unum election.

However, when this decision was made, there was an issue of a conflict of interest between Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Anwar Usman, who had a family relationship with Jokowi's family.

"But we just forget things like that, we forget things like that. Just focus on winning Ganjar and Mahfud," said the former Governor of Lemhanas.

Andi reminded volunteers to move optimally but also stay away from prohibitions during the 2024 presidential election. They must also spread the vision and mission of the Ganjar-Mahfud pair.

"Don't be provoked to create a cloudy campaign," he said.

Previously, the Chairman of TPN Ganjar-Mahfud, Arsjad Rasjid, had asked volunteers to move. Supported presidential and vice presidential candidates must be able to win above 50 percent so that the 2024 election is only one round.

Currently, three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates have registered with the General Elections Commission (KPU). The first to register was Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin on Thursday, October 19.

The second pair registered on the same day were Ganjar-Mahfud. The two pairs of candidates then carried out an examination at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital on Saturday, October 21 and 22.

Then, the last pair to register was Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. They submitted the file to the KPU on Wednesday, October 25 followed by a medical examination at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital the day after or Thursday, October 26.
