Rawamangun Fire Victim Admits He Runs Out Of Costs To Build A House, The Government Is Relying On

Residents affected by the fire in RT 04/05, Rawamangun Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, hope that the government can provide material assistance to rebuild their homes.

Aluson Rajagugugukik (64), one of the residents of RT 04/05 who was affected by the fire, said he hoped to get assistance from the government in the form of materials. The reason is, he has run out of money to build a house.

"We hope that if possible there will be assistance from the government. Material assistance for the construction of houses, that's what we need now. We don't set the nominal," said Aluson to VOI, Thursday, October 26.

According to him, until now, residents have not received assistance in the form of materials from donors. Assistance is only limited to providing basic necessities, food, drinks, clothes to medicine.

"Until now there has been no material assistance. Now what is needed is material," he said.

Aluson explained that during the evacuation, as many as 100 residents affected by the fire had received sufficient food assistance.

"Food assistance for 1 week is sufficient," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the victims affected by the fire were still occupying the evacuation post in the park area, Jalan Kayu Putih V, RT 04/05, Rawamangun Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, Thursday, October 26.

Although the fire has scorched their homes since 1 week ago, there are still 5 families (KK) who have not lived in proper places. Meanwhile, other refugees have signed and left the refugee camps.

Residents' obstacles did not stay in rented houses due to limited costs. The fire that hit their homes on Thursday, October 19, left only ashes and lara.
