TANGERANG - A man with the initials RLM (25) ended his life by hanging himself in his room on Jalan Impres Batu Jaya Tengah, Batuceper, Tangerang City. The victim's death is suspected to be related to his online loan debt (pinjol).

Kapolsek Batuceper, Kompol Susida Aswita confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Monday evening, October 23.

"The victim was found hanging himself using two sarongs," said Susida in a short message, Tuesday, October 24.

Based on witness testimony at the scene, RLM before being found dead looked relaxed enjoying coffee.

But not long after, according to witnesses, he received a loan bill.

The victim was relaxed downstairs drinking coffee. (Not long after, the victim received) receiving an online loan warning letter ( Billing)," he said.

Susida said that the witness, who was none other than the victim's Bude, had passed by when he wanted to go to the top floor to water the plants.

However, when the witness returned to the ground floor he passed the victim's room. At that time the witness was surprised to see that RLM was already hanging on the room plaphone.

"At the time of the victim's entrance, the witness (the body) saw that the victim was already hanging by 2 sarongs," he said.

The screams of witnesses made local residents crowded at the crime scene (TKP). The police who received the report immediately arrived at the location with the medical team to evacuate the victim's body to the hospital.

When asked about the amount of victim's debt to the loan, Susida admitted that she did not know about it because this case is still under investigation.

"No one knows (the victim's loan debt)," he concluded.
