Man In Ciamis Desperately Kills Lover With The Status Of Another Wife

CIAMIS - A man in Ciamis, West Java killed his own lover who is still the wife of a person. Ironically, the perpetrator known as David Darmawan (33) previously reported the death toll from hanging himself at a fruit stall.

However, after a police investigation, it was revealed that the victim, known as Herlina (32), died as a result of being killed by the perpetrator using a raffia rope.

David is a resident of Rokan Hilir, Riau who lives in the city of Banjar. He was desperate to kill the victim because he was jealous because the victim had never resolved his relationship with her husband.

Previously, David claimed to have found Herlina dead at a fruit stall belonging to him in the Cisaga area, Ciamis Regency, last Friday. David reported that the victim died from hanging himself.

Ciamis Police Chief, AKBP Tony Prasetyo Yudhangkoro said, after the police conducted an investigation, it was revealed that the victim was killed by his own lover. From the results of the examination, the victim found bruises on the right arm and neck due to the snares of the raffia rope.

"After we conducted an investigation, it turned out that the result was an irregularity between the facts at the crime scene and the report. We concluded that the victim with the initials H died because he was abused by the perpetrator who was his own lover," said AKBP Tony Prasetyo, Sunday, October 22.

Before this case was revealed, David argued that there was an argument via cellphone with the victim. The perpetrator then went to the scene at a fruit stall belonging to the victim in the Cisaga area, Ciamis. At that time, David claimed to have found the victim dead.

"The chronology is that the perpetrator admitted to finding the victim who had died due to suicide. The same thing was conveyed by the perpetrator when reporting the incident that the victim had died by hanging himself," he said.

From this incident, the police secured a number of evidences in the form of three cell phones, the victim's clothes, and the raffia rope used by the suspect to ensnare the victim's neck.

To account for his actions, the suspect David was thrown into the Ciamis Police Headquarters cell. He was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 15 years in prison, or Article 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code with a threat of 7 years in prison.
