Kaesang Visits Golkar, Gathering Between Political Parties Of The Advanced Indonesia Coalition

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep visited the Golkar Party DPP office on Jalan Anggrek Neli, Slipi, West Jakarta, Wednesday, October 18, afternoon. Kaesang arrived at 16.59 accompanied by PSI Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees Grace Natalie, and member of the Board of Trustees Isyana Bagoes Oka along with other PSI ranks. Kaesang's arrival was welcomed by Golkar Deputy Chairman Nurul Arifin, Golkar Deputy Secretary General Dico Ganinduto, Putri Komarudin, and Deputy General Treasurer Dyah Roro Esti. Kaesang and his entourage were then invited to meet with the General Chair of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto. Previously, Ketum Airlangga Hartarto talked about the meeting with Kaesang this afternoon. However, he was reluctant to reveal what would be discussed in the meeting. The Coordinating Minister for the Economy also did not want to answer about the information from the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who was rumored to be attending the Golkar Party plenary meeting tonight. "We schedule it with Mas Kaesang," said Airlangga at the Golkar DPP office, Wednesday, October 18. Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Golkar, Nurul Arifin, said that Kaesang's arrival to the banyan headquarters was for a gathering between political parties that were members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM). "If PSI has officially joined KIM, the direction is already there," said Nurul. However, Nurul was reluctant to confirm whether PSI had stated support for Prabowo Subianto or not.

"If I read from the media that I have declared myself, I don't support those there, that's it. It means supporting those here, even though it's not official yet, it looks like the direction is like that," said Nurul.
