KPU Receives Letter From Anies Coalition, AMIN List Thursday 19 October

The General Election Commission (KPU) has received a notification letter from the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) coalition political party for the registration of prospective presidential and vice presidential candidates. AMIN registered on the first day of registration, namely Thursday, October 19.

"On Saturday afternoon we received a letter, received a notification letter for the registration plan for the coalition party, a combination of political parties from the NasDem party, PKB and PKS plans to increase the budget for presidential and vice presidential candidates, on October 19 at 8 am until finished," said KPU member Idham Holik at a press conference, Monday, October 16.

As previously reported, Muhaimin or familiarly called Cak Imin said the Amin pair would visit the KPU early in the morning at around 08.00 WIB. He asked for prayers and blessings for himself and Anies.

"On 19 am, God willing, we will register the Amin couple. Please pray for your blessing, ask for your support," said Cak Imin in his statement, Wednesday, October 11.

Cak Imin is optimistic that he will run for the 2024 presidential election because he has received the support of three main parties, namely PKB, PKS and NasDem. He hopes that the KPU can objectively carry out its duties and functions as the organizer of the election.

"God willing, we will flock to the KPU. (We) pray that the KPU will remain objective and make it an independent force," said the deputy chairman of the DPR.

The plan is for Cak Imin and Anies Baswedan to walk to the KPU at 08.00 WIB, preceded by a roadshow to support parties.

The two will depart from their respective residences and then will go to PKB, then to PKS, and finally to the NasDem office. From NasDem Tower, the Amin pair with a convoy will walk to the KPU office
