JAKARTA - The National Police mapped 12 regional police that are included in the priority one category or are very prone to disturbances during the 2024 simultaneous General Election (Pemilu).
Head of Anev Robinops Sops Polri Kombes Muhammad Firman said the determination of priority areas was based on the level of vulnerability of disturbances in the 2024 General Election.
"Where there are 12 regional police are the first priority, priority 1 is a very vulnerable priority," said Firman in a Public Dialogue with the theme 2024 Presidential Election: Strengthening Peace and Democracy Election Towards Advanced Indonesia at the Grand Kemang Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 11.
Dozens of regional police categorized as priority 1 are East Java, Aceh, Southeast Sulawesi, Maluku, West Kalimantan, Bali, Central Java, Metro Jaya, North Sumatra, West Java, North Sulawesi, and Papua.
Then, from the results of the mapping, other regional police areas are included in the second priority category. This means that the level of disturbance is quite high.
"There are 22 regional police that are included in priority 2 is a vulnerable regional police force," he said.
