JAKARTA - Professor and Chancellor of the Datokarama State Islamic University (UIN) Professor Sagaf S Pettalongi stated that the 2023 Lake Poso Festival is clear evidence that Poso Regency is safe for tourists from within and outside the country to visit.

"Tourists from within and outside the country do not need to hesitate and be afraid to come to Poso specifically and to Central Sulawesi in general. The Lake Poso festival was held for the first time in 1989 with the aim of developing tourism in Poso.

This year's Lake Poso Festival is targeted to bring in more tourist visits than the previous year.

The Poso Regency Government targets 15,000 tourist visits to FDP 2023 from within and outside the country.

The Regent of Poso added that the development of the tourism world cannot be separated from the increase and role of the tourism industry.

Therefore, the Poso Regency Government hopes that with the implementation of the FDP in 2023 there will be progress in a positive direction that will attract investors to invest in the tourism industry and in other fields.
