JAKARTA - Waiting for Mardan (34), a farmer from Bima to gather with his wife and child, has finally been granted. The reason is, Mardan was detained in the police due to being involved in a traffic accident that caused the victim to die.

Now Mardan can gather with his family because he gets restorative justice from the District Attorney (Kejari).

After being able to gather with the family, Mardan's eyes looked teary after receiving a sincere apology from the victim's family. Mardan was finally free from the legal process. Mardan and the victim's family finally shook hands.

It is known that the traffic accident victims caused the death of motorcyclists named Sarjon and Ardianasyah. Meanwhile, Ismail was injured in an accident.

The Head of the Bima District Attorney's Office, Karya Graham Hutagaol, said that restorative justice was carried out in accordance with the fulfillment of the requirements, including peace from both parties. The results were approved for restorative justice and a decree was issued to terminate the charges.

"That after the accident, the suspect immediately gave good intentions to provide compensation, as well as medical expenses for victims who were injured and the cost of grief to the victim who died," said Karya, Tuesday, October 10.

In addition, Ismail as the victim witness realized that the accident was an accident without any intentional element from Mardan. Moreover, Mardan also still has a family relationship with Ismail. Sarjon is the same, still family with Mardan.

In his statement, Ismail mentioned that Mardan is the backbone of the family and only a farmer. However, because agricultural products are not good, Mardan does work as a truck driver.

Ismail also realized that the negligence was not only from Mardan, but from other factors so that the 34-year-old farmer was forced to take the right lane to avoid some residents who were sitting and parking motorbikes on the side of the road.
