Chairman of the PSI DPP Kaesang Pangarep handed over membership cards (KTA) directly to several new members in Bandung, West Java, Sunday, October 8. Several new cadres who joined PSI were young people and a three-star retired, TNI Intermediate Marshal (Ret.) Kisenda Wiranatakusumah. After being from Kiaracondong, Kaesang and his entourage continued their journey to President Joko Widodo's volunteer house in Bandung. In that place, he directly handed over KTA PSI to Marsdya TNI Retired. Kisenda, a retired TNI officer whose last position was the Head of the TNI Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS). "Mr. Kisenda is the son of the region here. I think the whole community here knows him, and his performance has been satisfactory. I don't think there is anything wrong with choosing him in 2024," said Kaesang when met after the event at the volunteer house, quoted from Antara. Kisenda, under the PSI flag, registered as a candidate for DPR RI member in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu). On the same occasion, Kisenda said he was proud and honored to join as a PSI cadre. "Yang pasti bergabung ke PSI karena partai anak muda. Kalau saya lihat anak muda kontaminasinya agak kurang. Saya masih berharap partai anak muda diawaki orang-orang yang sangat idealis. Kami tahu mesin bangsa ini mesin jalannya nanti anak-anak muda," kata pulnawirawan TNI Angkatan Udara yang lama berkaryar di dunia intelijen. Kaesang and his entourage, including PSI Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni and two members of the PSI Board of Trustees, namely Isyana Bagoes Oka and Giring Ganesha, have been traveling around West Java since Saturday.

He began his journey to meet the community and cadres from the city of Bandung on Saturdays and Sundays, then continued to Garut on Sunday night until Monday (9/10). Finally, Kaesang is scheduled to visit Tasikmalaya on Monday afternoon.
