Secretary General Of July Says There Has Been No Talk Regarding The Meeting Of PDIP Chairman Megawati And PSI Chairman Kaesang

JAKARTA - Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Raja Juli Antoni said there had been no further discussion regarding PSI Chairman Kaesang Pangarep's meeting with PDI-P Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri. "Until now there has been no more discussion," he told ANTARA in Jakarta, Sunday, October 8. He said PSI Chairman Kaesang had met the chairman of the PDI-P DPP Puan Maharani and there was already an understanding in the meeting. According to him, in the future there has been no complete communication regarding the meeting of the two general chairmen. He said that if the Kaesang Pangarep meeting with Megawati can be realized, it will bring good results. "Mas Kaesang already has Mbak Puan's phone number, they will communicate it," he said. Previously, PDI-P Chairperson Puan Maharani met the PSI Ketum in the Menteng area, Jakarta, Thursday. In that meeting, the daughter of the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri and the youngest son of President Joko Widodo agreed to jointly maintain a conducive and peaceful situation ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Puan said that her meeting with Kaesang was relaxed, although it was interspersed with serious discussions regarding the latest issues and the political situation. In addition, the meeting took place with full kinship because Puan already considered Kaesang like her own sister.

In line with Puan, Kaesang said the formal meeting felt like an informal meeting. "Our meeting was held in a neutral place, not in one of our (party) offices, and as Mbak Puan said, we are actually like family," said Kaesang.
