The Song "PAN PAN PAN" Was Tried For The First Time At Bawaslu DKI

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Bawaslu held a trial to discuss alleged administrative violations committed by the National Mandate Party (PAN) related to the party's "PAN PAN PAN" song.

The inventors, namely the South Jakarta City Bawaslu (Jaksel), stated that there were allegations of administrative violations of the election with the release of the song on PAN's TikTok and Youtube as well as in the form of advertisements on the Trans 7 television station.

"The reported party is suspected of having carried out socialization activities by publicizing on YouTube social media 'PAN TV' and TikTok 'PAN FRIENDs' as well as advertisements in electronic media broadcast on Trans 7," said Head of South Jakarta Bawaslu Atiq Amalia at the Reading Session reported by ANTARA, Thursday, October 5.

He said the form of socialization that was allowed based on Article 79 paragraph 2 of KPU Regulation No. 15 of 2023 concerning General Election Campaign was to put up the political party flag for election participants along with serial numbers.

In addition, it is allowed to hold a limited meeting by informing the KPU and Bawaslu in writing according to the district/city level no later than one day before the activity is carried out.

Therefore, continued Atiq, the publication video contains the song "PAN PAN" on social media and advertisements in electronic mass media, not activities regulated in the article so that it is not allowed during the socialization period.

Responding to this, Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the PAN DPP Viva Yogi Mauladi said his party asked for time to observe the findings.

"Regarding the differences in multiple interpretations of the language, method, and procedure, we ask for time to study in detail and will answer officially the findings of Bawaslu," said Viva.

The chairman of the Assembly and the reported party PAN also agreed that the trial with the agenda of hearing the response of the reported party would be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023.

The officers who acted as Chair of the Examining Council and Members of the Assembly were members of the DKI Bawaslu Benny Sabdo and Reki Putera Jaya.

The inventors, namely the South Jakarta City Bawaslu, were represented by Atiq Amalia as the Chairman of the South Jakarta Bawaslu and members of the South Jakarta Bawaslu Lensi Anah and Asyari.

Meanwhile, the reporting party or DPP PAN, represented by Viva Yoga Mauladi as Deputy Chairperson of the PAN DPP, Eko Hendro Purnomo as Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PAN DPW, and Sarifuddin Sudding as Chairman of the PAN DPP.
