The Defile Of The TNI's 78th Anniversary Tomorrow, Here's The Traffic Engineering Around Monas

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency carried out traffic engineering around the National Monument (Monas) area on Thursday, October 5, 2023, in connection with the activities of the TNI's 78th Anniversary parade and defile.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that the Defile activity would start at 10.15 WIB until 11.15 WIB.

The route starts from the southeast gate of Monas-Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur-Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara-Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat-Jalan MH Thamrin- Bundaran Hotel Indonesia (turn back)-Jalan MH Thamrin-Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan-Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur-Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara-Galan Barat Laut Monas.

"To support this activity, traffic engineering will be carried out starting at 10.15 to 11.15 WIB or situational except for Transjakarta buses can still pass," said Syafrin in his statement, Wednesday, October 4.

The traffic engineering that will be implemented tomorrow is as follows: a. Traffic from the south (Semanggi) to the north (Harmoni) can go through Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Jalan Gatot Subroto-Jalan Letjend S. Parman-Jalan Tomang Raya-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Suryopranoto and so on.

You can also pass Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Jalan Gatot Subroto-Jalan KS Tubun-Jalan Jatibaru Raya-Jalan Cideng Barat-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Suryapranoto and so on.

Then, you can also cross Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Timur II-Jalan Karet Abdul Jalil-Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Timur 2-Jalan RM Margono Djojohadikoesoemo-Jalan KH Mas Mansyur-Jalan Cideng Barat-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Suryapranoto and so on.

b. Traffic from the north (Harmoni) to the south (Senayan) can go through Jalan Ir. Juanda-Jalan Pos-Jalan Kesenian-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat-Jalan Taman Pejambon-Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur-Jalan Menteng Raya-Jalan Cut Mutia-Jalan GSSJ Ratulangi-Jalan HOS Cokrominoto-Jalan Imam Bonjol-Jalan Jenderal Sudirman and so on.

Traffic from north to south can also be through Jalan Ir Juanda-Jalan Suryopranoto-Jalan Cideng Barat and so on.

c. Traffic from the east (Tugu Tani) to the west (Tanah Abang) can go through Jalan Menteng Raya-Jalan Cut Mutia-Jalan GSSJ Ratulangi-Jalan HOS Cokrominoto-Jalan Imam Bonjol-Jalan Jenderal Sudirman and so on.

d. Traffic from the west (Tanah Abang) to the east (Manggarai) can go through Jalan KH Mas Mansyur-Jalan RM Margono Djojohadikoesoemo-Jalan Galunggung and so on.

Syafrin appealed to road users to adjust the traffic arrangements set, obey traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field, and prioritize road safety.

"For long-distance train users who will go to Gambir Station in order to adjust their travel time," he added.
