JAKARTA - The chairman of the PDIP DPP and the chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, confirmed that there would be a meeting between her and PSI General Chair, Kaesang Pangarep in the near future. Puan admitted that she wanted to chat with Kaesang as the new PSI chairman. "God willing, we will meet. Indeed, I always try to open myself up, stay in touch with anyone. One of the things I want to talk to is the new PSI general chairman, Mas Kaesang," said Puan at the residence of the 10th Vice President Jusuf Kalla on Jalan Brawijaya, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Wednesday, October 4. Regarding when the plan to meet with President Joko Widodo's youngest son took place, Puan said immediately. "In the shortest possible time," said Puan. Meanwhile, PSI Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni said the meeting between Puan and Kaesang would be held on Thursday, October 5, tomorrow. He said the two had even communicated with each other. "Mas Kaesang WA-an with Mbak Puan, I saw the message, Thursday tomorrow they agreed to meet, stay in touch in a relaxed and family atmosphere," Raja Juli told reporters, Wednesday, October 4. Raja Juli said that the PDIP and PSI meeting had also been confirmed by the Deputy Secretary General of PDIP, Utut Adianto. The plan is that Puan and Kaesang will meet in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta during lunch hours. "Mas Utut is also my WA, he arranged the technical meeting. Tomorrow at 13.30 at a restaurant in the Menteng area," he said. Raja Juli emphasized that PSI and PDIP's relationship was still well established even though they had a chance to argue because the bull party was not spoken to when announcing Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate. Now, PSI is often seen at the meeting of the coalition supporting Prabowo Subianto. The Deputy Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning hopes that the meeting of the two presidential children will produce something good.
