Jokowi Keeps The Contents Of His Meeting With SBY At The Bogor Palace Secret

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said his meeting with the Chairman of the Upper House of the Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) at the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, Monday, October 2, discussed the 2024 political year. "Yes, talk, especially regarding 2024," said President Jokowi on the sidelines of the opening of the Inacraft on October 2023 at the JCC Assembly Hall, Jakarta, quoted by ANTARA Wednesday, October 4. However, President Jokowi was reluctant to elaborate further on the details of the topic he discussed during the one-hour meeting with the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia. "What was discussed? What was the secret? " said Jokowi. When alluded to the issue of joining Democrats as a coalition party, Jokowi again threw the same answer. "It's a secret," Jokowi said in response to the question whether the General Chairperson of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) entered the coalition. Previously, it was reported that the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) was confirmed to meet with President Joko Widodo at the Bogor Palace, West Java, Monday early last week.

Based on journalists' observations, Jokowi was seen escorting SBY to a vehicle in the courtyard of the Bogor Palace after the meeting. Both of them seemed to be wearing batik together and were seen talking familiarly to the vehicle.
