The Spirit For Indonesia's Bright Future Becomes The Theme Of The Photo Contest And Astra's Writings

JAKARTA - The Astra Photo Contest and the Astra Reporter Award will reopen in 2023. This time the organizers carried the theme "The Spirit for Today and the Future of Indonesia".

Astra's Chief Corporate Affairs, Riza Deliansyah, said that this competition is expected to be a forum for appreciation for the nation's children who have disseminated various positive contributions in society. Whether it's through photo work or writing.

"The work that has been produced is expected to be a bridge of inspiration based on hopes for all people in advancing the nation for today and the future of Indonesia," Riza said in a written statement received.

This competition is intended for the general public and journalists. There is no age limit for those who want to participate.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Semiarto Aji Purwanto, hopes that this event can move citizens to be able to imagine designing and working on various activities to ensure Indonesia's brighter future.

He admitted that the theme carried by Astra was very much in accordance with FISIP UI which finally collaborated in organizing this event.

As for the photo competition, Riza added, photos that can be included need to describe the spirit, business or activities of people in the country to maintain the sustainability of the nation's future.

For writing, participants are required to tell inspiring stories about businesses and activities carried out by recipients of the appreciation of the One Indonesia Awards or the driving figure of Kampung with Astra or Sejahtera Astra Village. For example, the story of how these figures maintain a sustainable life by contributing to advancing the surrounding community.
