Menpora Dito Gives Awards For The RAD Youth Development Award To 8 Regional Heads

JAKARTA - The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo gave the Regional Action Plan (RAD) award for Youth Development to eight regions. Awards were given for regional efforts in youth development.

The awarding was held at the Wisma Kemenpora, Jakarta, Wednesday, August 23. The Minister of Youth and Sports hopes that with this award other regions will be able to pay attention to youth development.

"President Joko Widodo's directive to me after being launched is to continue efforts to develop youth based on Presidential Decree No. 43 of 2022," said Menpora Dito.

Menpora Dito said that with this, the demographic bonus is a strategic opportunity for Indonesia to accelerate development with the support of abundant productive-aged human resources (HR).

"I hope this can increase the Youth Development Index to optimize the demographic bonus. Escorting the younger generation is our common task, starting from the village head," said Menpora Dito.

Furthermore, Menpora Dito hopes that youth development collaboration can be carried out together. Both at the regional level and across ministries/agencies.

"Mr. President invites us to advance in this advanced era. We must be able to ensure to increase youth capacity. I hope our youth can unite, work for Indonesia Raya," explained Menpora Dito.
