SEMARANG - The death toll in a truck accident that hit a number of motorized vehicles at the Bawen Toll Exit intersection, Semarang Regency, Central Java increased by one person.

"The information has increased by one, died in hospital. A total of four died," said Semarang Police Chief AKBP Achmad Oka Mahendra as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 23.

The injured victims in the unfortunate incident were evacuated to At Tin Bawen Hospital and Ken Saras Hospital.

According to him, the truck driver with the initials AR has also been secured for questioning.

Temporary suspicion, he continued, was that the accident on the national road was due to the truck brakes that were not working.
