3 Bribery Former Kabasarnas Will Soon Be Tried

JAKARTA - The alleged bribery that ensnared the Head of the National SAR Agency (Kabasarnas) Henri Alfiandi will enter a new chapter. Three suspected bribes in this case will soon be tried.

Henri's bribe in this case is the President Commissioner of PT Multi Grafika Cipta Sejati, Mulsunadi Gunawan; President Director of PT Intertekno Grafika Sejati, Marilya; President Director of PT Kindah Abadi Utama, Roni Aidil.

"The suspect and evidence to the prosecutor team have been handed over to the suspect MG et al," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, September 22.

Ali said this process was completed because KPK investigators coordinated intensely with the TNI Puspom investigators. "So that the fulfillment of the elements of the article as the bribe giver at HA (Kabasarnas) et al is fulfilled and declared complete," he said.

Furthermore, the bribes will have their detention period extended for 20 days. This process will be accompanied by the transfer of files and indictments to the Corruption Court (Tipikor).

"Delegation of case files and indictments to the Corruption Court will be carried out by the Prosecutor's Team within 14 working days," said Ali.

As previously reported, the anti-corruption commission only uncovered the alleged bribery in the procurement of goods and services at Basarnas through a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Tuesday, July 25. From this active action, the KPK announced five people as suspects.

The five suspects are Kabasarnas Marshal Henri Alfiandi and Koorsmin Kabasarnas Lt. Col. Afri Budi Cahyanto as suspects for receiving bribes. Meanwhile, as the giver is the President Commissioner of PT Multi Grafika Cipta Sejati, Mulsunadi Gunawan (MG), President Director of PT Intertekno Grafika Sejati Marilya and President Director of PT Kindah Abadi Utama Roni Aidil.

However, the investigation of this case had a polemic because the KPK was considered to have exceeded the authority of the TNI. Because Henri and Afri are still active members.

In this case, Henri is said to have received a fee referred to as a command fund of Rp. 88.3 billion from the private sector from 2021-2023. This acceptance was made through Afri as his subordinate.
