TANGERANG - Hundreds of residents of Kranggan, Setu, South Tangerang have experienced a shortage of clean water since two months ago. This forced residents to buy refilled water for their daily needs.

"Buy refilled water for daily needs. In fact, if there is no water, my son just goes to school to wash his face," said Rina, one of the local residents, Monday, September 18.

However, Rina said that for interests such as washing clothes, she usually goes to the Cisadane River. Because the location is not too far from home.

"Almost every day I clean there," he said.

Rina said that currently in her area, the local government is starting to help with water delivery from BPBD and South Tangerang PDAM. However, the water sent is slightly cloudy or brown magic

"Yesterday I got it, it was just cloudy. He said that because the car was staining, it became cloudy," he said.

In the aftermath of a long dry season, a number of areas in South Tangerang experience drought. To meet water needs, BPBD provides clean water for residents.

It is known, as many as 700 families (KK) in Kranggan Village, Setu, South Tangerang are willing to queue long to get clean water provided by BPBD.

Head of Emergency and Logistics of South Tangerang BPBD Faridzal Gumay said this activity had been carried out since this afternoon on Thursday, September 14.

"Alhamdulillah, service to the community together with PDAM Serpong for clean water and free of charge," said Gumay when confirmed, Thursday, August 14.
