JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo distributed food aid in the form of rice to beneficiary families (KPM), in Bulog Purwasari's warehouse, Karawang Regency, West Java.

President Jokowi said the government's rice reserve food aid distribution program would be carried out for the next three months to 21.3 million KPM.

"Yes, we will continue to provide food assistance in the form of rice that will be given in September, October, and November 2023, 10 kilograms, 10 kilograms, and 10 kilograms. We will give it to 21.3 million recipient families so that every month they will leave Bulog's warehouse for approximately 10 thousand tons for the community because the number is 21.3 million recipient families," Jokowi said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, September 14.

A number of beneficiaries are grateful for the rice from the government. One of the recipients, Siti Maesaroh, admitted that he was happy and touched because he could get direct assistance from President Jokowi.

"Today I received 10 kilograms of rice and parcels from Mr. Jokowi. Very happy, touched, thank God, I can help. I hope Mr. Jokowi's message is always successful, healthy," said Siti.

Oyah felt the same way, a local resident who also received rice and basic necessities from President Jokowi. He thanked and prayed for President Jokowi.

"Thank you to Pak Jokowi, the assistance has been received by me. Thank you very much, I hope Mr. Jokowi lives a long life, it's better to go there," he said.
