LAMPUNG SELATAN - A resident of Bakauheni Village, Bakauheni District, South Lampung Regency, Lampung was shocked by the discovery of a headless corpse and hands on the local village beach.

The male body was found on the beach of Sukarame Penabahan Hamlet, Bakauheni Village, Bakauheni District, South Lampung on Wednesday morning, at around 08.00 WIB.

The body was first found by a local village fisherman named Samsuri who was catching fish on the beach.

When found the condition of the corpse was very pathetic. Apart from being found without a head, the hands of the corpse wearing white training clothes combination of blue were also not there.

The Bakauheni SAR Post Rescue Team who received reports from residents visited the location where the bodies were found.

The police have not been able to confirm whether the body was a murder victim or not. However, the corpse allegedly came from another place and was carried away by the waves and then stranded at the location where the body was found.

The Coordinator of the Bakauheni SAR Post, Febri Yanda, said that the Lampung SAR team received a report from the Bakauheni Navy Post and immediately coordinated with the Bakauheni Navy Post to ensure the truth of the information.

The Bakauheni SAR Post Rescue Team departed at 09.30 WIB with a distance of 4 km straight from the Bakauheni SAR Post with an estimated travel time of 20 minutes.

"The Bakauheni SAR Post Rescue Team arrived at around 09.50 WIB at the location and immediately evacuated the body. Then the body was taken to Bob Bazar Hospital," said Febri Yanda, Wednesday, September 6.

Febri Yanda confirmed that the body was found without an identity with headless and hands.

"When found, no identity was found, without hands and arms," said Febri Yanda.

The discovery of the body has been handled by the Meditation Police. Currently the police are still investigating.
