OKU Police Name Suspect In BBM Coupling Warehouse Case

BATURAJA - Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Police, South Sumatra has named TO (36) as a suspect in the possession of illegal Pertalite, diesel and pertamax oil (BBM).

OKU Police Chief AKBP Arif Harsono said his party had named one suspect who mixed and the owner of an illegal fuel that was raided by a joint team of the Intelligence and Security Unit and the OKU Police Satreskrim in the warehouse area of Talang Aman Hamlet, Batu Kuning Village, Baturaja Barat District on July 30, 2023.

He explained that the determination of the suspect was after his party conducted a case title and a series of investigations and investigations until the elements of evidence and witnesses were fulfilled.

The suspect was charged with Article 55 in conjunction with Article 53 Letter (c) of Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning oil and natural gas which has been amended in paragraph 5 of Article 40 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2022 concerning job creation with the threat of imprisonment for six years and a maximum fine of IDR 60 billion.
