Dismantling Producers Of 6 Illegal Cosmetic Products In Semarang, Police Call Selling It On The Marketplace

JATENG - Semarang Polrestabes dismantled cosmetic producers without distribution permits whose sales were made online through marketplaces or marketplaces.

Semarang Police Chief Kombes Pol. Irwan Anwar said the illegal cosmetic production was carried out by the suspect RKP (23) in a house located on Jalan Kenangan, Genuk District, Semarang City.

"The perpetrator bought cosmetic ingredients and resell them through the marketplace," said Irwan in Semarang, Central Java (Central Java), Tuesday, September 5, which was confiscated by Antara.

The cosmetic ingredients are packaged in small containers before they are resold. At least, there are six cosmetic products sold by the perpetrators, including two types of scrubs, dental bleach, facial skin bleach, and facial serum.

"The suspect has been operating since March 2023," added Irwan.

During operating, since about six months ago, the perpetrators made a profit of around Rp. 1-1.5 million per month.

Together with the suspect, the police also secured thousands of illegal cosmetic packages of various types, raw materials for making cosmetics, packaging, scales, and levies.

One of the cosmetics produced directly by the perpetrators was a temple of hands made from a mixture of rice flour, methamphetamine, and cinnamon flour.

For their actions, the suspects were charged with Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health.
