KPK Calls Sprindik Alleged Corruption In Ministry Of Manpower Published August

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that the investigation into the alleged corruption in the procurement of Indonesia's labor protection system (TKI) at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) was carried out since July 2023. This process was followed by the issuance of an investigation warrant (sprindik) a month later. This was conveyed by the Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in response to the issue of investigating allegations of corruption that targeted the General Chairperson of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin who ran as a candidate for vice president (cawapres) Anies Baswedan. He said, this process had gone through a case title. KPK agreed to go up on the investigation process of the case after finding sufficient evidence since around July 2023 and the investigation warrant was published afterwards since around August 2023,'' Ali said in his statement to reporters on Monday, September 4. Ali also said that the anti-corruption commission had not suddenly processed the allegation. Previously there must have been process of receiving the report, review and verification in public complaints of information and data,''''', he said. Thus, the KPK denied that this case was related to the political affairs including Cak Imin's declaration as a vice presidential candidate. Ali said that this case had been processed for a long time. 'In the process of reporting and investigation, we made sure that it would take a long time, not a month or even two months,' he said.' And of course, before the busy business of the policy of the politics of the presidential election reached Rp20 billion.
