Perdana Session, Sri Suzana Defendant Of Corruption In Disperindag Dompu Metrology Equipment Still In City Detention Status

Sri Suzana (continuously smiling), the defendant in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of equipment at the Disperindag Dompu underwent his first trial at the Mataram District Court, NTB, Friday, September 1. (ANTARA-Dhimas B.P.)

The Mataram District Court (PN) extended the detention of Sri Suzana, a defendant in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of metrology tools and other facilities at the Dompu Industry and Trade Office (Disperindag). Sri is a city prisoner.

This was conveyed by the Chief Justice of the Corruption Court at the Mataram District Court Mukhlasuddin during the inaugural trial with the agenda of reading the indictment of the defendant Sri Suzana at the Mataram District Court, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Friday, September 1.

"The defendant Sri Suzana was not detained and only became a city prisoner by the public prosecutor (JPU), so we (the panel of judges) are just continuing," he said.

In the indictment read out by the public prosecutor (JPU), the defendant Sri Suzana is said to have played the role of the Head of the Dompu Disperindag replacing the previous official, Muhammad, when the procurement program for goods indicated by corruption ran in 2018.

Secara otomatis, terdakwa Sri Suzana dalam jabatan tersebut bertugas menggantikan Muhammad sebagai pengguna anggaran untuk pelaksanaan pengadaan alat metrologi yang menggunakan dana alokasi khusus dari Kementerian Perdagangan sebesar Rp1,5 miliar.

However, the defendant Sri Suzana in her duties as a budget user did not follow the rules to appoint a commitment-making official (PPK), but also took over the task.

As a budget user, the prosecutor in the indictment outlined the conspiracy between the defendant Sri Suzana and her subordinate, Iskandar, who first received the mandate from Muhammad as an official implementing technical activities (PPTK).

The conspiracy relates to the duties and responsibilities of the defendant Sri Suzana as a budget user. Sri Suzana revealed that she asked Iskandar as PPTK to prepare a document on the implementation plan for the procurement in the form of technical specifications, self-estimated prices (HPS), and a reference framework.

Iskandar, who is also a defendant in this case, was revealed to have compiled the completeness document not in accordance with the provisions, one of which was in determining the value of HPS without surveys and direct communication to goods distributors.

In the indictment, the defendant Iskandar was also revealed to have asked for help from his son-in-law named Guntur Gunawan who was registered as an ASN to the Dompu Regency Government to prepare HPS.
