Democrats Hold Anniversary-Rapimnas September, The Presence Of NasDem-PKS Cannot Be Confirmed

JAKARTA - The Democratic Party will hold a series of events for the Anniversary and National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas). However, the presence of NasDem and PKS fellow Democrats in the Coalition for Amendments to Unity (KPP) cannot be ascertained.

Chairman of the Democratic Honorary Council, Hinca Pandjaitan, said his party was still discussing a series of events that would begin at the same time as the birthday of the Chairman of the Democratic Party's High Council Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) on September 9. He also asked the public to wait for who would attend the event. "We are still discussing it, it is still being designed by the committee. Later, we will announce who is present, how the activities are still in the process of the final meetings of all these activities. Wait, let there be a surprise. Just wait later," said Hinca to reporters, Thursday, August 31. Currently, said Hinca, the committee is still finalizing the anniversary event which will be continued with the Democratic National Meeting.

"Now we are preparing. Of course, activities will be followed, later there will be Rapimnas. What is certain is that this September is cheerful for the Democrats," he said.

Previously, the Chairman of the Democratic BPOKK and chairman of the committee, Herman Khaeron, said that this Rapimnas event would discuss important matters. However, he was reluctant to divulge whether the event would be a momentum for the announcement of Vice President Anies Baswedan or not. Khaeron only explained that the Democratic Rapimnas will be held on September 13. Meanwhile, the anniversary event was held the next day. "Incidentally, I am the chairman of the committee. In due time, I will still wait for the direction of the general chairman to convey a more detailed agenda to the public, what will be discussed at the National Meeting and at the Anniversary," said Khaeron at the DPR Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, August 28.
