PALEMBANG - confused about the need for 40 days of takziah money, his father, Jupriansyah alias Unyil (23), actually acted beyond reason. Unyil robbed his own friend.

"In the middle of the road the perpetrator forced the victim to get off the motorbike and beat him repeatedly," Agus said.

Unyil also took the motorbike away and sold it to Banyuasin for IDR 1.9 million. From the victim's report, the perpetrator was arrested.

"The suspect's motive admitted that the robbery was due to the economy," said Agus.

Meanwhile, the suspect, Unyil, admitted that the money from selling the victim's motorbike was used to commemorate the 40th anniversary of his father's death.

"I lacked money so I was forced to do that, I gave the rest of the money to my younger brother. Some also made gambling," said Unyil as quoted by Kompas.com.

During the action, Unyil admitted that he was only armed with his bare hands. The victim could not fight back because he was beaten from behind.

"The victim is indeed my own friend," he said.
