Central Lombok Disdukcapil Asks For Additional Blangko KTP

CENTRAL LOMBOK - Department of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) of Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, proposed adding 60 thousand blanks of electronic Identity Cards (KTP) to the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri). "The current blank electronic ID card is still empty," said Head of Population Registration Service at the Central Lombok Dukcapil Service, H Ramli in Praya, Antara, Tuesday, August 22. This vacancy has occurred in the last nearly four months following the absence of stock of blank availability at the Ministry of Home Affairs. "There is also no stock in the central government," he said. Therefore, his party has proposed adding electronic ID cards. "How much is given depends on the central government," he said. The need for blank electronic ID cards in Central Lombok is 60 thousand, consisting of 24 thousand novice voters and for the need for changing the status of 15 expansion villages in Central Lombok. "The number of residents in the 15 villages reached 32 thousand to replace the lost ID card and social status," he said. He hopes that the central government can distribute the blanks for the electronic KTP in August 2023, so that people who need ID cards can be met.

His party is currently only able to provide recording services and a recording certificate to residents who come to make electronic ID cards. "We hope that the blank electronic ID card will be given immediately, so that the needs of residents in Central Lombok can be met," he said.
