Drunk When Reprimanded, Woman In Babel Stabs Biological Father To Death

BANGKA BELITUNG - A woman Nos (28), a resident of Rias Village, South Bangka (Basel), Bangka Belitung, killed her biological father, Sarkawi (60). This murder was triggered by Nos' frustration which was reprimanded by her father when he was drunk with alcohol.

South Bangka Police Chief AKBP Toni Sarjaka said the murder of his biological father occurred last Sunday at around 23.30 WIB.

"So based on the testimony of the witnesses we have heard, the victims and the perpetrators are father and son," said Toni, Friday, August 18.

Toni said, before the murder, the perpetrator and the victim were often heard arguing at home. On the day of the incident, he said, the perpetrator consumed liquor outside the house. Seeing his son drunk, the father reprimanded Nos. However, the perpetrator was annoyed and went home to take a knife.

"When drunk, the perpetrator was then reprimanded by his parents. After being reprimanded his father returned home. Then followed by this perpetrator or his son because of emotion then his son went straight back (house). The perpetrator took a knife and then his parents stabbed him," he said.

The perpetrator has now been arrested and detained at the South Bangka Police. The police charged the perpetrator with Article 44 paragraph (3) of the Domestic Violence Law (UU KDRT).

In addition, the perpetrator is also suspected of violating Article 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 15 years in prison.
