Safari Park Committed To Becoming A Conservation Institution That Instills Patriotism Value

JAKARTA - Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI), located in Cisarua, Bogor Regency, West Java, emphasizes its commitment to becoming a conservation institution that instills the values of patriotism.

"We must learn and remember history that the existence of the Indonesian Safari Park to this day cannot be separated from the struggle and support from the whole community," said TSI Director Jansen Manansang while leading the ceremony to raise the red and white flag on the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia at TSI Bogor, quoted from Antara, Thursday, August 17.

He explained that Taman Safari Indonesia was founded by Hadi Manansang and his wife Tuti Manansang when Indonesia fought for independence.

"TSI was born by Hadi and Ibu Tuti who pioneered this conservation institution from scratch. This is history and should not be forgotten. Then, TSI grew and developed rapidly because of four things; solid, persistent, consistent and committed," said Jansens.

Meanwhile, General Manager (GM) of Bogor Safari Park Emeraldo Parengkuan revealed that the RI Anniversary ceremony was a routine agenda for the management of Taman Safari Bogor which was attended by all employees.

"The goal is to remember the history of the hero's struggle that died in duty. The values of the struggle for heroes and patriotism are what give birth to enthusiasm for all management and employees in providing excellent service and being grateful for the gift of independence that is now obtained," he explained.

Emeraldo also said, to enliven the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the Bogor Safari Park has also prepared a number of interesting events and promos.

In addition to the August 2023 promo with the theme of discounted prices for Agus' name, the Bogor Safari Park also held the Indonesian 78th Anniversary Special Cultural Parade by presenting cultural parades involving at least 150 participants. This is very interesting because we will present various cultures from all over the region," he said.
