The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police said 50 witnesses and 5 experts had been examined in the investigation into the alleged spread of fake news to hate speech with reported Rocky Gerung. Dozens of witnesses and experts were originally questioned when reporting against Rocky Gerung was still being handled by the regional police. "Currently we have examined 50 witnesses, then 5 experts we examined. In addition, we are continuing to carry out investigations to complete whether we can increase this for investigation or not," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro to reporters, Wednesday, August 16. So far, there are 22 police reports (LP) whose handling has been withdrawn to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. However, there are still several reports that are still being handled by the regional police. The reason is that the process of handling it is still under investigation by the complainant. So, for the time being, it has not been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. On the other hand, Djuhandhani said that the investigation of Rocky Gerung had not yet been scheduled. Seban, is still waiting for a Labfor examination regarding video evidence.
