Gas Stations In North Gorontalo Conduct Subsidized Solar Deviations Acted By Police

GORONTALO - The Gorontalo Regional Police (Polda) has brought order to the practice of subsidized diesel irregularities carried out at the Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) in North Gorontalo Regency.

"We reveal the practice of irregularity in subsidized diesel is based on complaints from the public who are worried about this activity," said Gorontalo Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Agensta Romano Yoyol, in Gorontalo, Thursday, August 3, was confiscated by Antara.

He said that disclosing the practice of subsidized diesel irregularities had an impact on long queues at gas stations.

Long queues of vehicles also cause inconvenience in traffic in front of gas stations because they are on the Sulawesi route. The condition of the road which is relatively narrow and passed by many vehicles from and to the Gorontalo City area causes traffic accidents and even conflicts between road users.

"We received reports that several long queues at gas stations on the Sulawesi route caused traffic accidents. So that deviant practices that occur must be brought under control as soon as possible because they are very disturbing," he said.

The Regional Police Chief said that after conducting research and investigations, his party found that of the approximately 20 cars lining up, there were a number of trucks and pickup truckes with fuel oil tanks (BBM) that did not match the standard. There are also the same cars and repeatedly queue every day.

"So we found that the same car came repeatedly filling fuel at gas stations. However, if it was the car's turn, which only queued once from night to morning, often did not get it because the stock ran out," said the Kapolda.

He said, there were allegations of systems and regulations related to transactions and distribution of diesel fuel at gas stations that were not implemented properly.

"The 100 liter rule for medium vehicles and 200 liters for heavy or large vehicles does not seem to apply here (SPBU)," he said.

His party immediately checked the monitoring system carried out by Pertamina, as well as the gas station managers who were allegedly neglecting the subsidized diesel irregularities.

"We suspect it is clear that this fuel will on average be sold to illegal mines in Gorontalo," he said.

He also said that the disclosure of the case managed to secure 10 trucks and a pickup truck that was found transporting fuel was suspected to be the result of the practice of irregularities at a gas station in North Gorontalo.

Two of them have been taken to the Regional Police Headquarters and others are still in North Gorontalo. "For a pickup truck, we have only brought one (Mapolda)," he said.

The Gorontalo Regional Police will continue to investigate the involvement of certain parties to examine a number of witnesses including gas station officers and other related parties.

Three people have been taken to the Regional Police Headquarters for examination. The case was handled seriously considering that this deviant practice is really detrimental to the target community of subsidized fuel users.

"We will check for fuel transactions at every gas station in Gorontalo Province, whether it runs according to applicable regulations and regulations. This applies evenly as an effort to create public safety and comfort," he said.
