SOUTH SUMATRA - The Regency Government (Pemkab) of Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Timur distributed thousands of Red and White flags in order to welcome the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

East OKU Regent Lanosin Hamzah said this distribution was part of the 'Red and White Flag Movement in 2023' according to President Joko Widodo's instructions.

Thousands of flags were distributed to people passing through the Martapura Market area and around the East OKU Regency Government office area.

"After this, the distribution is continued in other open places, such as at the Merdeka Martapura Farmers Field," he said.
