Separated From The Group, 4 People Disappeared In The Alas Purwo Banyuwangi Forest Finally Found

The joint SAR team rescued four lost residents in Alas Purwo, Kalipait Village, Tegaldlimo District, Banyuwangi, East Java (ANTARA)

BANYUWANGI - The Search and Rescue (SAR) team combined with Banyuwangi, East Java, managed to save and evacuate four residents who got lost in Alas Purwo, Kalipait Village.

Banyuwangi SAR Post Coordinator Wahyu Setia Budi said the four people who got lost in Alas Purwo after being separated from the group last Sunday at around 13.00 WIB.

"At 16.00 WIB, we received information that the four residents got lost in the forest. Alhamdulillah, after we searched with the joint SAR Team, all were found safe," Wahyu said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 31.

The four residents who got lost in Alas Purwo, namely Yogi Agung Pribadi, a resident of Kemangsen Village, Balong Bendo District, Sidoarjo Regency, Ega Putra Gusti Aryo, a resident of Mrasih Hamlet, Kemiri Village, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency, Dedi Arganudin a resident of Gondang Hamlet, Candinegoro Village, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency, and Junaidi Abdullah a resident of Dusun Krajan, Powder Village, Rogojampi District, Banyuwangi.

According to Wahyu, the four people who got lost in Alas Purwo in Kalipait Village, Tegaldlim District originally came with their entourage to the padepokan cave in Alas Purwo on Saturday. Then, on Sunday the four people looked for water in the forest and they got lost and could not return to the location of their group.

"The joint SAR team managed to find the four people who got lost safely, then they were taken to the joint SAR Command Post at the Pancur Resort, then we handed it over to the family and the Tegaldlimo Police," said Wahyu.

The joint SAR team that carried out the search and evacuation of the four lost people consisted of one Banyuwangi SAR Post team, Polhut Alas Purwo, BPBD, Polairud Banyuwangi, Pos AL Muncar, Tegaldlimo Police, Damkar, Rescue 851 and local residents.
