Harun Masiku Reportedly In Cambodia, KPK Responds Like This

JAKARTA - The bribe for former Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) Wahyu Setiawan, Harun Masiku, who is fugitive, is reported to be in Cambodia. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) did not want to immediately believe the news. Deputy Chairman of the KPK Alexander Marwata said his party would check. Because they don't want to go home empty-handed like when Harun was reportedly in Malaysia. "“Yesterday there was information he said to Malaysia. We have sent a team to follow up on the information, we have sent the investigators to be empty,” said Alexander, quoted on Thursday, July 27. Alexander ensured that Harun would be hunted down to account for his actions. Coordination has also been carried out by the Police since the search began. "“From the beginning. Previously, the National Police's International Relations Division (Divhubinter) followed up on information on fugitive Harun Masiku. He is reportedly in Cambodia and changed nationality. "We will follow up, cooperate with the KPK and Interpol and the Cambodian authorities," said Head of the National Police's Divhubinter Inspector General Krishna Murti, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 26. As a reminder, the KPK is still pursuing three fugitives. They are Kirana Kotama who has been wanted since 2017 for alleged bribery in filing for a revision of forest function in Riau Province in 2014 to the Ministry of Forestry.
