He said, PPATK and OJK are related to transaction surveillance because dealers and online gambling players use government bank accounts and private banks. He also invited all parties to step in to eradicate online gambling and must be used as common enemies. "According to information we receive, online gambling uses servers abroad. One of its servers in Cambodia," said Yusri. Currently, the community starts from children, youth, men, men and women, all day busy playing online gambling. The condition is almost evenly distributed to all regions in the country. Until Saturday 21 July, the government through Kominfo has blocked the domains of the sites that are suspected to contain online gambling. Then, internet protocol addresses (IP) online gambling sites and applications are also blocked so that they cannot be accessed in Indonesia. In addition, the government also blocks accounts used by online gambling sites to narrow their syndicate spaces in Indonesia. In addition to blocking, Kominfo has also reported online gambling content in social media to law enforcement officers. Thus, the promoters who promote its content in social media have the potential to be caught by the police.

Kominfo Minister Budi Arie Setiadi said his party had succeeded in closing access to 846,047 online gambling content from 2018 to 19 July 2023. Budi said that in the past week Kominfo had blocked 11,333 online gambling content. He also said, from the beginning of July 17, 2023, Kominfo reported receiving 1,914 complaints related to online gambling content on the internet.
