Langgar Discipline Heavy Category, NTB Prosecutor's Office Fires A Prosecutor

The West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati NTB) through the field of supervision has imposed sanctions on three prosecutors who violate discipline. Head of the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Nanang Ibrahim Soleh, said that the imposition of sanctions was a follow-up to public complaints. "So, starting January 2023, the field of supervision has completed the handling of 22 public complaints. Follow-up to this complaint, three prosecutors have been given disciplinary sanctions," said Nanang in Mataram, as reported by Antara, Monday, July 24. The three prosecutors who received disciplinary sanctions were named Jufriadin, Bratha Hariputra, and Elisa Nidatika. "So, I just opened it, didn't use the initials," he said. The three people, he explained, received disciplinary sanctions for different violation categories. For Jufriadin, severe category disciplinary sanctions are imposed with dismissal. Then, the provision of moderate category disciplinary sanctions to Bratha Hariputera, who is known to be still active as Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Central Lombok District Attorney. "One more light disciplinary sanction for Elida Nidatika," he said. For Bratha Hariputra who was sanctioned with moderate category discipline, the prosecutor's office applied a postponement of promotion. Meanwhile, for disciplinary violations of the mild category of Elida Nidatika, the prosecutor's office gave a warning. Regarding the violations committed against the three prosecutors, Nanang did not disclose it to the public. He only ensured that the imposition of disciplinary sanctions was part of the prosecutor's commitment to foster a healthy bureaucracy. "So, for internal use, we are not playing games. If something is proven wrong, strict action will be taken according to the procedure," he said.

Furthermore, for the rest of the public complaints, it is confirmed that Nanang is still in the process in the field of supervision. The process relates to direct directions from the Attorney General.
