Police Arrest School Guard Who Arrested Methamphetamine Dealers In South Jakarta

JAKARTA - A security guard guarding the Al-Wildan International school was arrested by members of the Cilandak Police for being caught distributing methamphetamine.

Ironically, the perpetrator was arrested by members of the Cilandak Police while on duty in the school grounds.

"When arrested, the suspect with the initials RR (29) who was on duty at school tried to escape. But his action failed, the suspect was arrested after a chase," said Cilandak Police Chief Kompol Wahid Key when confirmed, Sunday, July 23.

From the suspect's hands, members of the Cilandak Police secured evidence of methamphetamine ready for distribution. In addition to arresting RR, the police also arrested other security guards at the school who were also buyers of methamphetamine.

"We have also arrested Satpam as a buyer," he said.

From the results of the investigation, it is known that the suspect RR has been a shabu dealer for almost a year. The suspect sold to users who were known to be close to him, namely security guards and others.

"He sold it to his colleagues at the school," he said.
