JAKARTA - Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is listed as the airport managed by PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) serving the highest number of passenger and aircraft movements in the first semester of 2023.

The airport, which is the air gate of Bali Island, recorded that it has served 9.7 million passenger movements and 64,648 aircraft movements throughout the first half of 2023.

In second and third place is AP1 airport with the highest number of passenger movements in the first semester of 2023, namely Juanda Airport Surabaya and Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar.

Juanda Airport Surabaya serves as many as 6.8 million passenger movements which are divided into 5.8 million passengers on domestic routes and 945,557 passengers on international routes.

Meanwhile, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar serves 5.2 million passenger movements, which are divided into 5 million passengers on domestic routes and 181,351 passengers on international routes.

As for the most aircraft movements, Juanda Airport is in second place with 47,031 movements consisting of 41,353 movements of domestic routes and 5,678 movements of international routes.

Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar serves the third most aircraft movements with 41,087 movements consisting of 40,013 movements of domestic routes and 1,074 movements of international routes.
