West Aceh Police Arrest Subsidized Fuel Hoarders Who Use General Transportation For Operations

ACEH - Police personnel from the Mobile Investigation Unit of the West Aceh Police, arrested MA (47), a warg of Cot Seumeureung Village, Samatiga District, West Aceh Regency for allegedly hoarding subsidized Biosolar fuel at his home. The perpetrator was arrested after officers received information from the public that at a house in Cot Seuemeurung Village, Samatiga District, West Aceh was allegedly used as a place to stockpile diesel fuel. Head of Criminal Investigation Unit Iptu Fachmi Suciandy said, from the information received, his party rushed to the location and found three blue fiber drums containing diesel fuel. "At the same location, the police also found three jerry cans suspected of containing diesel oil," he explained to ANTARA in Meulaboh, Sunday, July 16. To the police, the Supreme Court acknowledged that the Biosolar fuel found came from a number of fuel charging stations (SPBU) in West Aceh Regency, which he bought using one of their passenger cars KIA Pregio with police number BL 1952 ES. After buying fuel at gas stations, the alleged perpetrator then moved the subsidized Biosolar fuel to the perpetrator's house, to be moved using a pump engine that was already built in a passenger car. Then the subsidized fuel was transferred to the viber and jerry can drums repeatedly, and then the Biosolar fuel was allegedly buried in the perpetrator's house.

"We are still investigating this case, and we have detained the perpetrator to be legally responsible for his actions," said West Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head Iptu Fachmi Suciandy.
