President Jokowi Meets Governor General Of Papua New Guinea Bob Dadae

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo met with the Governor-General of Papua New Guinea Sir Bob BofengDadae at the Government House, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

Jokowi arrived at Government HOUSEPort Moresby at around 12.15 local time and was greeted by Governor-General Bill Toraso, who then invited Jokowi to climb the stairs to the meeting room. In front of the meeting room, Jokowi was seen signing the guest book before entering and meeting Dadae.

Reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 5, after the meeting which lasted for approximately 20 minutes, Dadae then took Jokowi to the vehicle to go to APEC Haus, Port Moresby, where the agenda for his next visit was.

At the meeting, Jokowi was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia, and Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan.

Meanwhile, Dadae was accompanied by Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elias Wohengu, Secretary-General Bill Toraso, Deputy Secretary-General of the State Departmentbullying Moihe, Plt. Director-General of Bilateral Affairs of the SAMson Yabon State Department, Ad Interim Business Authority of the Papua New Guinea Embassy in Jakarta Simon Namibias, and the Consul General of Papua New Guinea in Jayapura Colonel Jeffrey Wiri.

Previously, Jokowi arrived at International Jacksons Airport, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, Wednesday, at around 11.00 local time, using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.

Jokowi arrived in Papua New Guinea after his working visit to Australia. The Prime Minister (PM) of Papua New Guinea, James Marape, immediately welcomed President Jokowi's arrival under the plane's stairs.
