Had Fled, The Perpetrator Of The Motorbike In Bogor Finally In Dor Police

The police arrested the perpetrator of the theft of a firearm motorbike with the initials Z (33) in the East Bogor District, Bogor City. The perpetrator had to be given a hot lead as he tried to escape.

Bogor City Police Chief Kombes Pol Bismo Teguh Prakoso said the incident occurred on Saturday, July 1. It started when the victim caught the perpetrator who was about to steal his Honda CRF motorbike in the parking lot of an inn.

"The perpetrator pointed a gun and intended to run," Bismo told reporters, Monday, July 3.

Feared, the victim was silent and perpetrator Z fled on a motorbike with his partner. Not far from the location, there was a patrol of the Bogor City Police which immediately arrested the perpetrator.

"After being arrested, further evidence was obtained from the theft by the perpetrators," he explained.

During the arrest, the perpetrator tried to escape so he had to be given measured decisive action on his leg. The police also confiscated evidence of one homemade firearm along with one bullet belonging to the perpetrator.

"We also take firm and measured action against the perpetrators in both legs because they are trying to escape," he said.

From the results of the examination, it is known that the perpetrator is a recidivist of the same case and has been involved in stealing motorbikes in 9 different locations. Currently, the case is still under further development to hunt down one fellow perpetrator who is fugitive.

"Our perpetrators are ensnared by Article 365 of the KUPH which carries a threat of 12 years in prison and the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 carrying firearms with a penalty of 20 years in prison," he concluded.
